Q&A: any experience with treatments for hair loss?

Question by HelpMe: any experience with treatments for hair loss?
My hair is thinking around the temples. I'm 25 years old. I'm not sure whether to start using rogaine or finasteride. I'm a bit scared since some reviews are negative. I don't think I'd ever have transplants simply because I think I'd rather be bald (I have rarely seen ones which look natural). So may be the aforementioned products are my only hope. What do you guys think? Thanks!
